we drove a bunch of my stuff into the city. i love the bay-bridge.

there are these cranes along side the bridge that are putting up the new bay bridge.

i like the very industrial design of the bridge and all the lines it creates.

coming up on the second half of the bridge.

this is a shot of the city from the bridge.

i remember visiting alcatraz a looong time ago.

once we got into the city, we had to go to this little black building to check in for the dorms.

inside they had student artwork up on the walls, and i took a picture of this really cool one.

if you can't read it, it says:
"tis true my form is something odd
but blaming me is blaming god.
could i create myself anew,
i would not fail in pleasing you.
if i could reach from pole to pole,
or grasp the ocean with a span,
i would be measured by the soul.
the mind's the standard of the man."
first floor of my hotel-turned-dorm.

my room is on the second floor. i picked out the bottom bunk before my roommate could show up. muahaha.

this is the beautiful view from my window.

if i lean out, i can just see the end of that building.

the cross street of the street my building is on.

this was in emeryville in a sort of alley that led to the entrance of this really big food court.

the food court was huge. it had a place for every kind of food. mexican, seafood, italian, indian, chinese, etc.

we picked mexican.

we sat across from borders books. apparently it stank.

around noon, we left to go home.

i went over to shelby's while her and her friend heidi did some homework.

this is the rat in a glass.

this is heidi the retard.

the retards.

i wont be staying in my dorm until the end of this month, except for one night where i have orientation in the morning. that'll be next weekend. its terrifying to think im going to be living in a tiny room with a stranger in san fransisco. crazy.
