well there's no more lj-cut tag, so now i just have to put all my pictures in the main post. mindsay sucks now. it started off as a tech-savvy blog site that let you customize the hell out of your journal, and now its just another 'pick from these options' blog site, where everyone's looks exactly the same except for the color. boring. but livejournal blows too, so i'm stuck with this. anyway, that's why i haven't posted in forever, because mindsay pissed me off when they erased my custom style design.
thanksgiving was great. shelby came over, and my parents cooked really good food, like always, except it was a little better this time than others, both because the food was better and shelby was there.
hung out with josh and tanya a couple times. that's always fun, but it's also time away from shelby, so i'm always kind of conflicted about going.
shelby came out and hung out at my dorm for a little bit. she's cute.
outside one of my classes, i noticed some guys crawling out of their window onto the fire escape to hang out. dunno if they were smoking or what, but if i had a window that went out onto the fire escape, i'd be out there all the time.
and lastly, i used to have this black knife, a ryan model 7 civilian. oh man that knife kicked ass. solid as a rock (or steel in this case), sharp, ergonomic, the most comfortable and solid knife i've ever held. then the pocket clip accidentally bent, so it wouldn't stay in my pocket anymore. so, of course, it fell out somewhere, i have no idea where, and i lost it. shelby and i went out looking for a replacement, but i couldn't find it anywhere for sale, so shelby ended up buying me a different knife that was on sale for like $12. it's actually a really good knife for that price, now that i've used it a bunch. but it didn't compare to my model 7. we finally found the model 7 for sale online, only this time i ordered the military version, with the serrated blade. ohhh man. it's like the other one, only even more badass. it also comes with a price tag, the total order was about $70 with shipping and everything. and that's all from shelby. thank you baby, you spend way too much on me.
okie, now off to do the sketching homework that i've been dreading and procrastinating, and also waiting to talk to shelby.
